Glutathione
Glutathione is one of the major antioxidants produced by our bodies, directly neutralizing free radicals and reactive oxygen compounds. It also maintains other antioxidants such as vitamins C and E in their reduced (active) forms. Our ability to make glutathione decreases with age.1
 
For example, N-acetyl-L-cys teine is involved in gluta thione production; alpha-lipoic acid recycles glutathione. As part of the enzyme gluta thione peroxidase, sele nium also recycles glutathione. These three Proancynol 2000 ingredients help to maintain an adequate supply of one of the most important antioxidants in our bodies. The oligomeric proan thocyanidins (OPCs) found in green tea and grape seed extracts are antioxidant f lavonoids that play a role in recycling as they neutralize free radicals. Likewise, both vitamin C and E are antioxidants that become free radicals after giving up electrons, but Proancynol 2000 returns them to their natural state, allowing these vitamins to be used for other functions that the body requires for maintaining good health.
 
Green Tea Leaf Extract
Green tea is rich in four polyphenols (flavonoids that provide many health benefits): epicatechin, epigallocat echin, epicatechin gallate, and epigallocatechin gallate. Epigallocatechin gallate is up to 100 times more effec tive at neutralizing free radicals than vitamin C and 25 times more effective than vitamin E. Research suggests green tea can maintain a healthy immune system by increasing activation of white blood cells, macrophages, B lymphocytes, T lymphocytes and natural killer cells.2
Grape Seed Extract
Grape seeds contain OPCs up to 20 times more power ful than vitamin C and 50 times more powerful than vitamin E. OPCs may help prevent and reduce wrinkles by protecting collagen and elastin, which interlace to give skin its strength, elasticity and smoothness.3 Both red and white grape seeds are used for the extract in Proancynol 2000. N-acetyl-L-cysteine N-acetyl-L-cysteine (NAC) is a powerful, immune-supportive antioxidant. NAC is metabolized into compounds that can stimulate glutathione synthesis.
Alpha-lipoic acid
Alpha-lipoic acid is an antioxidant that scavenges free radicals inside and outside our cells. Both fat-and water-soluble, it has the ability to regenerate other anti oxidants, including vitamins C and E, glutathione and coenzyme Q10. Research indicates that alpha-lipoic acid may increase human T lymphocytes for immune-system support.4 The alpha-lipoic acid in Proancynol 2000 is derived from potatoes

Is there anyone who should not take Proancynol 2000?
Do not use if you are pregnant, nursing, suffer from kidney stones or a liver disorder. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if taking alkaline medication or nitroglycerin. Proancynol 2000 is not recommended for children.
Should I take a glutathione supplement instead?
Glutathione is a tripeptide comprised of cysteine, glutamic acid and glycine. When consumed as a supplement, the tripeptide is broken down into its three amino acids by the digestive system. Studies have found that oral consumption of glutathione produces poor results.
Does Proancynol 2000 contain caffeine?
The green tea in this formula is decaffeinated, using a water process that safely filters out most of the caffeine.
Does Proancynol 2000 help with air travel - Jet lag?
Anecdotal evidence from customers suggests that for some people there is definite improvement in jet lag symptons when
taking extra doses of Proancynol 2000 whilst travelling.
